WILD RIVERS · FLY FISHING

Your game. Your privacy.

How Mountain Brook Run LLC handles local saves, optional high scores and support messages in Wild Rivers.

Effective October 24, 2026. This policy covers Wild Rivers: Fly Fishing, operated by Mountain Brook Run LLC, and its support and score-removal pages. It supplements our company privacy policy; the game-specific details here describe this version of Wild Rivers.

Play and save on your device

Career progress, equipment, skills, settings, catches and the optional upload queue are stored locally. This version does not upload your career save or provide account-based restore. The game does not require your name, email, precise location or contacts. It has no advertising SDK or advertising identifier collection.

Optional public high scores

Only after you choose Agree & share catches do we record new released catches for high scores. The service stores an assigned angler identifier, catch receipt identifiers, trout species and lengths, and server recording times. We calculate total releases and biggest trout from those catches. The public boards show an assigned angler name, rank and score; they do not expose your private management code or your local career.

A random management code is saved in the app’s private settings. The server stores a hash of that code to authorize updates and deletion. The code is not linked to an email or social account. Keep it private: someone with it could manage your score entry. Visiting the boards contacts the service even if you do not join.

Optional gameplay analytics

Newer builds offer Help improve Wild Rivers in Settings → Gameplay sharing. It is off until you choose Share gameplay. We collect tutorial steps, recognized control actions, casts, drifts, fish outcomes and sizes, menu visits and durations, rig choices, virtual purchases, progression, game build, platform, graphics setting and performance summaries. A separate random installation code connects sessions; it is not linked to your public score name, email, login or career save.

We use these private reports to find confusing controls, difficult progression and technical problems. We do not record screens, raw touch coordinates, precise location, log text or advertising identifiers. Sharing is optional and never required to unlock anything. You can stop sharing immediately in Settings; this clears unsent analytics. Remove data deletes previously shared analytics.

At most 512 events can queue locally for seven days. Uploaded gameplay events are deleted daily after 30 days; inactive identities and deletion-code hashes expire after 90 days. Deletion hashes prevent old queued requests from recreating removed data. Daily security counters are deleted after two days. Hosting logs and backups have separate provider retention. The feature may not yet be present in your installed TestFlight build.

Service providers and technical information

Supabase hosts the score and analytics services in the United States. Our website is hosted by Vercel. Internet requests expose technical information such as IP addresses, request times and user-agent details to the hosting providers for delivery, security and operation. Our score rate limiter stores salted hashes of network addresses in short-lived counters, cleaned up after 48 hours when requests run. Provider logs and backups may have separate operational retention periods. We do not sell your game data or use it for targeted advertising.

Feedback is your choice

Email feedback goes to team@mountainbrookrun.com through your email provider and ours. We receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. The optional copied play note includes version/build, device model, graphics choice and current fishing setup/state. It is not sent automatically. Apple separately processes TestFlight feedback if you use that option.

Retention and deletion

Online catches and their assigned identity are kept until you remove the entry or we remove invalid or abusive entries. Deletion removes the entry and its catch records from the active score database; existing provider logs and backups may persist until their normal expiry. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and legitimate operational or legal needs; contact us to request its deletion.

Delete scores in the game or on our data-removal page. An offline deletion remains pending until the game can connect. Local saves remain until you remove the app’s data. We cannot restore a career from a leaderboard. A new opt-in after deletion creates a fresh entry.

Your choices and questions

You can play without sharing, use a generated name, decide what to include in feedback, and remove online records. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data. Contact team@mountainbrookrun.com to exercise those rights or ask a privacy question. We may need reasonable information to verify ownership without exposing another player’s data. Please do not submit children’s personal information in feedback.

Changes

We will update this page when the game’s data practices change. Features such as cloud saves or account sign-in will need their own explanation before you choose to use them.
